Thirsty Bear Brewery

I decided to go ahead and find a new brewery this afternoon. The closest thing I could find to my apartment was ThirstyBear Brewery on Howard and 3rd. Inside you'll find more then enough space to bring a big group of friends, they also sport an outside deck, and you can check out the brewing area through a glass looking area.

North Beach / Little Italy

I made a walk up to North Beach last night and found a pretty nice area to spend some time. It's just north of China Town and it doesn't have a beach like the name might suggest. I think North Beach might be the same thing as Little Italy because almost every restaurant I found here was Italian, otherwise it must be in state of flux similar to Schrodinger's cat.

Bar Cleveland

I've been staying near the intersection of Cleveland and Bourke and naturally I've become and avid customer of Bar Cleveland. This bar has a pretty mellow crowd, some slot machines, a nice outdoor seating area and some great food. I find that dropping by here and ordering a pint of Vale or Coopers and then hitting the slots is a nice way to wind my night down. Of the food I've tried here I'd say the Wagyu burger is the best thing they've got going and pretty much melts in your mouth. If you're just looking for a snack the Calamari is only 12 bucks and is a decent enough portion to hold you over before your next meal.
